The It's Always Sunny mishap

Last week's episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia came under some serious scrutiny when it seemed they had completely sold the show out by incorporating numerous plugs for arcade-themed restaurant Dave & Buster's and Coors beer.  Most fans hoped it was merely an elaborate joke, well it appears now that's the case.  Glenn Howerton (Dennis) tweeted the following today:

"If u watch the ep. w no commercials on DVD or iTunes or whatever u will like it a lot more. I promise. We learned our lesson on that one."

So it appears that the corporate schilling was all in good fun, but it didn't help to have the actual D&B and Coors Light commercials during the show.  Howerton went on to say that, "tonite's ep is 1 of my favs we've ever done."  This is really the first stumble I've seen from Sunny so I can give them a break.  All in all the show is outstanding and can't wait to see the rest of the season.
